## Tonight on the Vinogradišće buoys

Can we stay here tonight? Yes, on a buoy, from 1 Apr to 20 Oct, unless a southerly is forecast. (From the operator, 26 Sep 2026)

- Price: €7 a metre a night from 1 Jun to 20 Sep, so €84 for a 12 m boat, and €5 a metre in April, May and from 21 Sep to 20 Oct. VAT is included. Booking a buoy costs €30 in high season and €15 in low season. (From the operator, 26 Sep 2026) The list on the website prints no year and still gives prices in kuna too, so it may be the list of 2023. Reserving a buoy costs €30 in summer and €15 in spring and autumn, on top of the night. (From the operator, 26 Sep 2026) A day stop from 11 am to 4:30 pm costs €40 in summer and €30 in spring and autumn. (From the operator, 26 Sep 2026) A second boat on the same buoy costs 50% more, the list says. (From the operator, 26 Sep 2026)

## Shelter by wind in Vinogradišće bay

Vinogradišće bay opens to the southwest, on the side of Sveti Klement that faces the open sea. What the county's anchorage study says, wind by wind, is below.

- Jugo and southerlies from the southeast to the southwest: Open. Open to the southwest. Well sheltered from every wind but those from the south, and the inner bay is sheltered from the southeast too. The islet of Stambedar, 0.5 NM southwest of the entrance, breaks some of a southwesterly. (Official source, 26 Sep 2026) Our cautious answer: Treat the bay as open to the jugo, and leave if one is forecast. Sheltered from every wind except southerlies: [More magazin: Zašto Pakleni otoci tako silno privlače nautičare](https://more.hr/blog/zasto-pakleni-otoci-tako-silno-privlace-nauticare-i-sto-u-tom-akvatoriju-dozivjeti/) (Third-party source, 26 Sep 2026) Sheltered from the bura and the jugo, open to the south-west. An unmarked 4 m shoal lies east of Stambedar islet: [CV Sistemi (SmArtNav): peljar.cvs.hr: Prvi hrvatski on-line peljar Jadranskog mora (online Adriatic pilot)](https://peljar.cvs.hr/) (Third-party source, 26 Sep 2026) Our skipper reviewer hasn't checked this yet.
- Bura, maestral from the northeast and northwest: Sheltered, the county's study says, in the words above. (Official source, 26 Sep 2026)

The approach. East of the islet of Stambedar are the Pločice rocks and an unmarked shoal of 4 m. The head of the bay is shallow. (Official source, 26 Sep 2026)

The bay is part of the Natura 2000 site Pakleni otoci. Much of its sandy floor is covered with Posidonia seagrass. (Official source, 26 Sep 2026)

## Wind and sea, next 3 days

For the Pakleni Islands. Any southerly reaches the buoys.

Model forecast from Open-Meteo. Not an official forecast. Not for navigation.

How to read this forecast

Each part of the day shows its strongest hourly wind and gust, and its highest wave, in Croatian time. The words follow the Beaufort scale, and the model can't tell a real bura from any other northeast wind.
