Report a change
Seen a price, a rule or a mooring that is different from our page? Tell us, and we check it with the source before we change anything.
Every change goes in the public log at the foot of this page, with its new label, its date and why it changed. If you like, we credit you there by first name and initial.

What happens next
- 1Our editor reads it
You get a reference as soon as you send it. Every report is read by a person, and a report about safety goes to the top of the list.
- 2We check it with the source
We ask the source that decides that kind of fact: the operator for prices and hours, the official text for rules and fees. A report on its own never changes a fact.
- 3We change the page and log it
The fact gets its new value, label and date, and a row in the log below that says why it changed, with your first name and initial if you asked. If we cannot check it yet, the page keeps what we checked, and your report may appear in “What sailors told us” on that page, with its date.
- 4We tell you
If you left your email, we send a receipt at once, and write again when we decide: what we changed, or why we did not. If you disagree, reply and we look at it again.
Safety comes first. A report about a danger, a closure or a wrong emergency number goes to the top of the list, before any price.
How fast: An editor reads every report, safety reports first, and we reply once we have checked it with the source.
Other ways to help: tell us a fact is still right, send a photo of a price board, or look after an area every season. Help keep it right

Change log
Changes across our pages, newest first: a value that changed, a fact we added or one we removed, and why.
It lists sourced facts only. What sailors tell us is in “What sailors told us” on each page.
